The debut album from Dead by Monday is a stylistic blend of all things heavy, groovy and experimental. With a vast array of influences and the seamless blend of throat ripping screams vs heart wrenching clean vocals, Dead by Monday twist every cliche most metal bands adhere to and make the sound their own.
Instrumentally, Dead by Monday take influence from a blend of contemporary artists such as Fever 333, While She Sleeps and Stray From The Path and early metalcore in the vein of Avenged Sevenfold, I Killed The Prom Queen and Atreyu, ripping through at a near unrelenting pace on all fronts.
This album is expressive both musically and lyrically as Dead By Monday draw on the disenfranchised hearts of those who strive in vain for a better way of living, turning their anger and frustrations into something much more tangible and motivated.
